1. UV Gel French Manicure Consultation
We’ll start with a consultation discussing your desired French manicure style, nail length and nail shape. After a careful analysis of your current nails and condition, our nail technician will give recommendations, and assist you in your nail goals whether soft gel, hard gel, etc.
2. Nail Cleaning and Polish Removal
We’ll start with using gentle acetone to remove any old nail polish, and tools to remove any nail elements and embellishments. This will start our foundation in creating seamless strokes and finishes.
3. Nail Shaping and Filing
Our technician will then go ahead and cut the nail based on your desired length and shape. From there, we’ll use a nail file to create a seamless shape from stiletto to coffin, or almond to square. Finally, we’ll buff out your nails to make sure the gel adheres to them.
4. UV Gel Nail Base Coat Application
To ensure the powder lasts, we’ll apply either a dehydrator or brush the nails with a bit of alcohol to remove any oils. A base coat is then applied to help with the bonding. Your nails are then put under a UV lamp to cure them.
5. French Tip Gel Application
Our nail technician will carefully paint the signature French white tips using UV gel polish. After precise application, we’ll cure it under the lamp for perfect French tips.
6. Sheer Pink or Nude Overlay Application
To enhance the natural French manicure look, an overlay of either sheer pink or nude is applied for that flawless, glossy effect.
7. UV Gel Top Coat Application
A top coat is finally applied to seal the color and prevent any chipping. The top coat is put under the UV lamp to cure until it is fully set!
8. Manicure Final Touches
Enjoy your new and fresh UV Gel French Manicure! Our technicians will examine your nails one final time, make sure they are to your desired liking, and finally add cuticle oil/lotion to your hands to prevent dryness and nourish the nails.
