1. Consultation & Hair Analysis
We’ll start with a consultation discussing your desired balayage color, hair goals, and other elements. After a careful analysis of your current hair history and condition, our hair stylists will give recommendations, and assist you in the most suitable shades and techniques.
2. Hair Preparation
Your hair stylist(s) will start gathering the necessary tools, solutions, and protection gear for a seamless and hassle-free process. They will also start sectioning out your hair and mixing the balayage lightener and developer to provide an easy and balanced application all over.
3. Hand-Painting Technique
We’ll firstly start with a small patch test to make sure the mixture is to your liking. From there, we will then start applying the balayage highlights with freehand strokes for a natural finish. We will focus on your mid-length down to the ends for a seamless look.
4. Lightener Processing Time
Our hairstylists will check to see if the desired color is achieved and make sure the hair is not over-processed. If desired color is not reached, we’ll keep it in for a little longer making sure your hair isn’t damaged in the process.
5. Shampoo Rinse and Wash
Once hair color is achieved, we’ll go ahead and start rinsing your hair to remove any excess lightener. Our gentle color-safe shampoo will be used all over massaging the scalp to make sure there is no residue left.
6. Toner or Gloss
After shampooing, we’ll apply a toner to neutralize any possible brassiness in the hair. This will help keep a natural look and enhance the shine and tone of your new Balayage.
7. Conditioning Treatment
We’ll finish off your new Balayage with a deep leave-in conditioning treatment to repair and hydrate the hair. This will also restore strength and silkiness after using the lightener.
